All published articles will undergo thorough peer review, based on initial editor screening, anonymous refereeing by independent referees, and subsequent revision by article authors when required.
Manuscripts that appear, upon initial assessment, to be academically valid and in compliance with the journal’s ongoing theme will be sent for formal review. The journal uses double-blind review, which means that the authors’ identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa.
Referees’ reports are meant to provide us with the information on which a decision should be based. After considering the reviewer reports, the editors will make one of the following decisions:
- Accept as is
- Accept with minor revisions as suggested in this form without further review
- Invite revision and resubmission for further review
- Reject outright
